Stampin' Up! Share What You Love Cards

Hello, and welcome! Today I have some cards that I made at a friend's house. Carol Snow is also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and she's the one that designed these cards.

All four cards use beautiful papers from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper pack. It is truly pretty up close as it has a lot of sheen to it. The stamp set used on the card on the upper left comes from the matching Love What You Do stamp set. The embossed background of that same care was made with the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder. These products are available now in a bundle. They will also be available June 1, 2018.

We only have four days until we say goodbye to the current catalog. There are still some fabulous products left.

May 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

I have two alternative cards from my May Paper Pumpkin kit for you today. I kept them very simple. I used our Happy Birthday Thinlets Die to cut one out of Mossy Meadow, and one in Mint Macaron for the first card. I just offset them a bit for the layered look. The little stars are leftovers from another kit long ago. I cut a 3/4" x 4 1/4" strip of Mint Macaron to stamp the To You sentiment on, then mounted it just beneath the top flap. Everything else was included in the Paper Pumpkin Kit.

My second card was even more simple. The beautiful Tree is from a new set called Rooted In Nature, and the sentiment is from Stained Glass. I used the Mossy Meadow ink spot that was enclosed in the kit to stamp both. I attached the tag on the bottom only so that I could tuck the top inside it to stay closed. They will both be available June 1, 2018.

Our June Paper Pumpkin kit is supposed to have some products that coordinate with some new products from the 2018 catalog. They haven't given us many details, but it sounds fun.

We're down to less than two weeks before the new catalog goes live. We still have some fabulous last chance sales going on.

Three Way Fold Card FREE TUTORIAL

Today I have a FREE tutorial for you on the Three Way Fold Card Technique. My sample shows a card that folds from bottom to top. You use the same measurements for a top, or side fold card. That's why it's called a Three Way Fold Card.

Here is a picture of the inside of my card. I used a new stamp set for both the inside and out. It is called Detailed With Love, and will be available in the new catalog that comes out June 1, 2018. The pretty pearlized doily will also be available at that time.

My card stock base is Berry Burst, and the designer paper is Fresh Florals that is retiring the end of this month. Be sure and check out the retirement list as products are only available while supplies last.

Three Way Card Tutorial

1.  You will need a piece of card stock that measures 4 1/4" x 11" for the card base, one piece of          coordinating designer series paper that measures 4" x 4", one piece of coordinating designer series paper that measures 1 1/4" x 4", and one piece of Whisper White Card Stock that measures 4" x 4".

2.  Score the card base in half at 5 1/2", then cut it to 9 3/4" in length.

3.  Adhere the 4" x 4" piece of designer series paper to the card front. (First determine which way you want the card to, middle, or bottom).

4.  Attach the 4" x 4" piece of Whisper White Card Stock to the inside of the card base, and the 1 1/4" piece of designer series paper next to the the Whisper White piece.

5. Add a piece of ribbon if desired. It doesn't have to go all the way around if you are going to cover it with a doily, and/or die cut for the sentiment.

6.  Add the doily, die cuts or punches, stamped images, and embellishments of your choice.

Abstract Impressions 3 Way Fold Card

Hello, and welcome. I showed this pretty 3 Way Fold Card on my last episode of Watch Me Wednesday. I'm sorry to say I was having internet problems so the video was choppy, and some of the audio didn't come on. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I will be posting the directions for the Three Way Fold Technique here on Monday, May 21st.

I used some new, upcoming products on today's card. The stamp set is Abstract Impressions. The card base is a new returning color, Mint Macaron. The Faceted Jewels in Mint Macaron are also new. These products will be available, June 1, 2018. In the meantime, please check the wonderful retiring products list. We still have some marvelous products available.

Accented Blooms Hello Card

Hello, and welcome! I used a new stamp set called Accented Blooms along with some other some other soon to come fabulous new products for today's card.

The set has 8 stamps in all with some nice matching sentiments. It coordinates with the Tailored Tag Punch. I colored the flowers with a combination of Stampin' Write Markers, and Stampin' Blends. The pretty flowers sticking up on the left are Lovely Lipstick, one of the new 2018-2020 In Colors. The bright yellow flower is also a new In Color called Pineapple Punch. The card stock base is also Pineapple Punch. Such pretty, bright colors.

I used the fabulous 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon on top. This is truly my favorite ribbon of all time. It ties so, so easy, and is very pretty. The little Hello tag is Lovely Lipstick. I added a bit of Wink of Stella on top.  I punched the inside Whisper White mat with the Detailed Trio Punch to finish is off.

I know you will enjoy looking at the new catalog as much as I have. My customers, and Paper Pumpkin subscribers should be receiving them real soon.

Thanks for joining me today!

3 Way Fold Card #3

Hello, and welcome. Today's card is the third featuring the Three Way Fold technique. I had planned on showing it last evening for my Watch Me Wednesday episode, but our power went out just before going live. I will reschedule it for next Wednesday, May 16, 2018. I will go live on my Jean's Paper Jewels Facebook Page at 7pm EST.

This fancy fold is so easy, and uses minimal supplies. You can whip one up in just minutes. I used our retiring Daisy Delight Designer Series Paper along with the matching stamp set. Unfortunately, the paper has sold out completely, and will no longer be available. The small strip of Daffodil Delight was embossed with the new, upcoming Basket Weave Embossing Folder. The pretty pearlized doily is new as well. These items will be available June 1, 2018.
